Patria Evans, 44, is a stay-at-home mom of five who immigrated to the U.S. from Jamaica. Determined to pursue higher learning, Patria sought a flexible program and enrolled online with SNHU. Even while in an intensive care unit following the birth of her daughter, Patria was focused on her education, keeping her laptop close by so she could complete her coursework. Her dedication paid off. She earned two degrees online with SNHU – a BS in Business Administration followed by an AS in Accounting – with 4.0 grade point averages. She is now pursuing a master’s degree with SNHU.
