Remus Figueroa Orozco, 26, is Navy veteran and father of three whose military career became uncertain when he was diagnosed with cancer. Fearing for the family’s future if he were to be medically discharged, Remus began his college journey online with SNHU after his first day of chemotherapy. With his bachelor’s degree in-hand, he is now setting his sights on cybersecurity positions as he transitions to civilian life.
