Skye Hiser, 25, is a first-generation college graduate and licensed practical nurse. As a working mother of two, she enrolled in SNHU’s flexible online program, transferring credits from a local community college. Skye would often work on her SNHU program during breaks at work, late at night, and on the weekends. Skye says her psychology degree is a stepping stone to a career change; she aspires to work in psychiatric care, helping patients with their mental health.
